I am happy to be back for my 8th year as a Haw Creek Husky! I love working with all of my students (from preschool to 5th grade) and can't wait to see familiar faces and see new ones as well. I graduated from The University of South Florida and The University of Central Florida and have been a speech - language pathologist since 2000. 

I have 2 sons who attended Haw Creek - Will, 14, who is a freshman at South High School, and Michael, 12, who is a 7th grader at Lakeside Middle School. They keep my husband, Andy, and I busy with all of their activities including lacrosse, football, wrestling, baseball, basketball, and golf. I also have 2 adult stepsons who are graduates of GCSU. In the little free time I have left, I enjoy traveling, gardening, cooking, and playing with our pets (3 cats and 1 dog!).

I am so excited to be back at Haw Creek this year! I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2000 and truly believe this to be the best career. I received a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University following my undergraduate degree from UGA. My husband, Kevin and I have three children Harris (USMA 2028), Wilson (UGA 2028), and Elizabeth (SFHS 2027). We also have a goldendoodle, Murphey and Milo the bunny. I enjoy spending time running, listening to music, reading and yoga. I was inspired by my oldest sister who had Down Syndrome to become a speech therapist. I am passionate about helping others find their voice. It will be another great year as a Haw Creek Husky!

Hello, my name is Missy Jones, and I am thrilled to join Haw Creek as the new part-time Speech-Language Pathologist!  I graduated from the University of Georgia with my Bachelor's degree, obtained my Master's degree from Valdosta State University, and earned my Educational Specialist degree from Nove Southeastern University.  For the past 5 years, I have been working at Mashburn Elementary, but I am excited to now be part of the Haw Creek community.  Both of my oldest children, Braeden who is a sophomore at SFHS and Summer who is in 6th grade at Lakeside, attended elementary school here.  Now, my youngest, Zach, will be starting kindergarten at Haw Creek.  In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, watching my kids participate in sports, playing tennis, and volunteering in the community.  I am looking forward to bringing my experience and passion for speech-language pathology to Haw Creek and working with the students here.

I have worked as a Speech Language Pathologist for 22 years. I have a daughter at Lakeside Middle and a son at South High School. I am looking forward to another great year in speech!

This is my 5th year at Haw Creek Elementary! I have a 3rd grader at Haw Creek and a 4 year old at a nearby Preschool. I have worked as a Speech Language Pathologist for over 13 years in both the medical and school settings. My education includes a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University. I look forward to another amazing year at Haw Creek Elementary!
