President: Vibhi Rathor & Drew Landers
When do we meet? Wednesday afternoons bi-weekly.
Purpose/Mission: BioBuilder is dedicated to helping students access tools and programs that unlock their potential as life science innovators, acquire skills to be able to build with biology, and invent/imagine ways synthetic biology can make the world better. Established in 2011 from an award-winning teaching team at MIT, BioBuilder takes a comprehensive approach to the emerging field of synthetic biology, providing exceptional programming available for students and educators alike. For students, there is the chance to integrate biology and engineering through practical, hands-on lessons and club activities.
Stuff we might do: All activity is done electronically. Students will be able to develop, propose, and research a topic in Biology and then have a chance to publish their work.
