Megan Deal
Megan Deal graduated from Valdosta State University with both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This is her 6th year as a Speech Language Pathologist. She has experience working for the school system, as well as private practice. She is so excited to be a part of the Chestatee team! Ext. 722459

Emily Dutton
This will be Emily Dutton's 6th year working as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Chestatee. Ms. Dutton received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Georgia - Go Dawgs! She has worked with a variety of students and abilities during her time at both UGA and Chestatee Elementary. Ms. Dutton is very excited for another great school year at the T! Ext. 722118

Tara Heflin
Tara Heflin is a Speech Language Pathologist who has 16 years' experience as an educator teaching Early Intervention, Pre-K through 12th grade, and Special Education in Florida, Maryland, Hawaii and Georgia. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University. Tara's gift to teaching is her ability to connect with parents, staff and students by bringing joy, humor, kindness, and professionalism. She is stoked to be a Chestatee Eagle!

Erica Richardson
This will be Erica Richardson’s 7th year as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Chestatee Elementary. Mrs. Richardson received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Valdosta State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has served Pre-K to 5th grade as well as self-contained classes with their various speech, language, fluency and social communication needs. Mrs. Richardson is excited to be part of the Chestatee community again this year and is looking forward to seeing all her old students as well as new ones!

Lindsay Rosebush
Lindsay Rosebush has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for the past 25 years and this is her 16th year at Chestatee. Lindsay received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and her Master’s from Louisiana Tech University. She will be working at Chestatee on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during the 2024-2025 school year. Kristy Sylvester
This is my second year teaching as a speech-language pathologist for Forsyth county schools. I have been teaching speech in the public schools for a total of 26 years but a few years ago moved to North Georgia. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from The University of Georgia, then an additional Leadership Specialist degree from Columbus State University. I absolutely love helping all children communicate better and look forward to another exciting year at Chestatee!
