SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
Forsyth Central High School Science Olympiad's mission is to inspire and prepare students to compete in invitational, regional, state, and national competitions, while fostering a deep exploration of various STEM fields. As a member of the Georgia Science Olympiad and National Science Olympiad organizations, we meet regularly to engage in hands-on learning, foster critical thinking, and strengthen problem-solving and teamwork skills. Our team welcomes students from all grade levels, regardless of their prior experience in science. Together, we strive to cultivate a love for learning, innovation, and collaboration.“The important thing is to never stop questioning.” — Albert Einstein
About the Competitions
Science Olympiad is an exciting 23-event competition that challenges students across a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines, including engineering, physics, chemistry, forensics, earth science, rocketry, and more. Our dedicated Science Olympiad team dives into these events by mastering scientific content, designing innovative solutions, engineering and constructing devices, and perfecting their skills through practice. Each year, we compete in several invitational tournaments, building momentum for the ultimate test of knowledge and teamwork at the Regional, State, and National levels. It’s not just about winning — it’s about exploring the frontiers of science and having fun along the way!
