House Bill 1176 amended O.C.G.A.19-7-5 Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse. Effective July 1,2012 all volunteers as well as all school employees are required to report       suspected child abuse or neglect. Forsyth County Schools’ policy and procedure direct school volunteers to contact a school counselor or school administrator to report suspected child abuse or neglect.  All school volunteers and support staff are encouraged to watch an informational video.  Here is the link to the FCS YouTube Mandated Reporter training video  http://youtu.be/HbWkMhEJ1TU
