I love Big Creek Wildcat Readers!

I have worked in Forsyth County Schools since 2013. I have been a 4th grade teacher, Media/Technology teacher, and gifted coordinator. Before that, I taught 5th grade for 7 years in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Working in the media center gives me so many opportunities to be creative - bulletin boards, costumes, book displays, STEM lessons, makerspace, research tools, and reading just for fun! What is your favorite thing to do in the media center??

When I’m not reading and learning new tech tools, I run 5Ks, and I yell loudly at sporting events (Go Heels!) and country concerts. I also make t-shirts and crafts with my Cricut, so you might see me shopping at Hobby Lobby or Michaels!

I am excited to be working in the media center, as reading is a passion of mine. This will be my first year working in Forsyth County Schools. I have been a parent at Big Creek for 10 years, and I have volunteered in many ways throughout those years. I have served on the PTO board and love giving back to our school and community.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my 3 daughters and watching them play their different sports. You can also find me cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs during football season!
