Hey there Wildcats! My name is Elizabeth Conant, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year at Big Creek Elementary! I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia in 2014 and completed my Master of Arts in Teaching degree at Brenau University in 2021. When I'm not teaching I love spending time with my husband, Steven, cheering on our Georgia Bulldogs, traveling, reading, or hanging out with our dog, Oliver. I can't wait to meet each of you and start our 3rd-grade journey together! It's going to be a fantastic year!

Hi friends! My name is Caroline Gessner and this will be my 8th year teaching in Forsyth County. This will be my second year as a Wildcat! I graduated with a bachelor's in Early Childhood and Special Education in 2017 and earned a master's degree for Special Education in 2021. I am currently working on my specialist in Curriculum and Instruction. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my son- Hudson(Kindergarten), reading, & relaxing at the pool. I can't wait to have another fantastic year in third grade!

Hello! My name is Ashley Grant! I’m so excited to be a part of the Big Creek Family. I graduated from Valdosta State in December of 2020 with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. When I’m not teaching, you can find me at the beach, going to concerts, or playing with my dog, Styles. I can’t wait to learn and grow along with the students and have an incredible year! GO WILDCATS!!!

Hello! This is my first year at Big Creek Elementary, and I am so thankful to be at such an amazing school! I have taught grades K-4 for 14 years in Tennessee, Maryland, and Georgia. Most of those years have been spent in third and fourth grades. I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2006 with a BS in Elementary Education. I have four children ages 1, 3, 8, and 10 and an English Bulldog named Gillis. I look forward to a terrific year working with Big Creek students, parents, and staff!

My name is Michelle Santiago and I’m thrilled to be joining the Big Creek family for the 2024 – 2025 school year. I graduated in 1996 with bachelor’s degree in Early Education from Texas Women’s University and a masters and specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University as well as an endorsement in gifted and autism. I have a wonderful husband, Gabe, and two fabulous boys, Harrison (21) and Garrett (19).  I love spending time with my family and of course, watching some Georgia football, GO DAWGS! I’m looking forward to another amazing year of teaching 3^rd grade.

My name is Mrs. Wilson. I graduated from Georgia College and State University in the spring of 2017 and I have been teaching ever since. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I hope to encourage children to reach their full potential and love learning! In my free time, I enjoy being creative, spending time outdoors with family and friends, and cheering on my favorite football team. I am so excited for this year at Big Creek!
