This is my eighth year as an Instructional Assistant at HCES. I served on the PTA Board for 3 years before I was asked to join the HCES team. I grew up in Minnesota and currently live in Forsyth County with my husband, Tim and our two children, Tori (16) and James (21). I have a bachelor’s degree in Broad Area Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. I started out in the business world but feel my true calling is to be in the classroom working with students and watching them grow.

This is my 6th year here at Haw Creek. I am married and I have 3 children who attend Forsyth Central High School and Otwell Middle School. I have a Bachelor's degree from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I started my field in the corporate world but found my passion working with children. I love gardening and making my own pickles. I am excited for the upcoming school year!

Welcome to Kindergarten!!  This is my 25^th year as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant and I have been at Haw Creek since its opening!! Also. I am  the Director of Haw Creek’s Afterschool Program, Husky Hangout.   I have been married for 37 years and we have two children, Micah and Karissa.  My pride and joy are my grandchildren, Hudson and Hollis.  I enjoy traveling with friends and family and I love to shop!!  I look forward to meeting you!!

Hi! My name is Jan Vollor. This is my sixth year at Haw Creek as an Instructional Assistant in Kindergarten. I am a certified teacher and taught First Grade for 12 years. I am returning to the field of education after staying home to raise a family. I have a son named Jackson and a daughter named Alex Austin. They are both in college but still keep me busy. My husband and I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with our family. It is great to be back in the classroom. I truly enjoy working with students and just adore Kindergarten.
