Records Requests of Former Graduates and Withdrawn Students
The Inactive Student Records Center utilizes Parchment for all inactive records requests. Please (Click Here) or go to http://www.parchment.com/u/registration/28694843/account to submit your request. Please enter Forsyth County Schools Alumni as the school you are requesting records from.
- Requests are processed in the order in which they are received within 5 business days (10 business days during peak times - May, June, July, August, December, and January).
- Former students that are 18 years old or older must submit their request themselves.
- The parent/legal guardian should submit requests for students that are under 18 years of age.
- Please contact the Special Education Department (770-887-2461, ext. 310159 or cnorthcutt@forsyth.K12.ga.us) to request Special Education Records.

Please Note:
- Birth Certificates are kept on file
one year after a student graduates/withdraws, then shredded in accordance with state retentionguidelines. Former studentsmaycontact Vital Records or a Probate Court in the state/county where they were born to request a copyof theirbirth certificate.
- Immunization records are kept on file
one year after a student graduates/withdraws, then shredded in accordance with state retentionguidelines. Former studentsmay contact their former physician orHealthDepartment to request their immunization records.
- Diploma copies are not available. Former students may request their transcript as proof of graduation.
- ACT and SAT scores must be requested from the testing agency.
- 504 plans are maintained 5 years after the termination of the 504 plan in accordance with state retention guidelines.
- Please contact the Technical College System of Georgia to obtain GED records.
- If you select Other Document as the type of document you are requesting in Parchment, you must email studentinformation@forsyth.K12.ga.us with your legal name, date of birth, and explanation of what document you are requesting after you have submitted your Parchment request.
