- Weekly meetings on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:20-3:45 starting in May and going through State/National Competitions.
- Tryout dates: April 14, 17, 21, 24.
- Sign up HERE for tryouts before April 9th.
- 4th Grade In-House Competition Teams: Up to Five Teams of Four Students (4th Graders Only)
- These five teams will compete in-house and serve as a time to learn to build with the coaches' support.
- Weekly meetings on Tuesdays from 2:20-3:45, starting in August through the first semester.
- Tryout dates: August 12, 19
Our robotics teams are picked from yearly tryouts (April for the Competition Team and August for the In-House Competition Team). Students can try out if they are in good academic standing, have a positive behavior record, and are Colts Who Care (Connected, Accountable, Respectful, and Engaged). Enrolled students should utilize their Canvas page for all up-to-date information regarding robotics. Students will be expected to follow the Kelly Mill Mission and Expectations document.
Robotics Team Sponsors: Kayla Ballweg and Bradley Robertson
The Competition Team cost will be $400 (non-refundable) and tournament entry fees/travel/etc. will be separate based on whether your team qualifies.
The In-House Competition Team cost will be $200 (non-refundable).
