This is my first year at Sharon, and I am so excited to be here. For the past 5 years, I have been working at Shiloh Point Elementary as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I graduated from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania with a B.A. in History and Early Education certification. I taught 2nd grade and Georgia PreK before having children. I am passionate about building relationships with my students and as the mom of an adult with special needs, I am dedicated to seeing my students succeed.
I am originally from New York and I have been living in Georgia since 1992. My husband and I have 3 children and 2 dogs. I love reading and just being with my family. Family is very important to us, and we often go back to NY to see our extended family. We all love Broadway and Disney World.

I have been a Sharon special education teacher since August 2004. As an interrelated teacher, I have been fortunate to work with some amazing teachers and even more amazing children! I truly love teaching. There is nothing like seeing a child light up when they discover something new or realize they understand a recently introduced concept.
During the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, I will be working with the amazing Sharon preschool team. I am looking forward to this new path and teaching PreK students.
My certification is in both special education and early childhood education. I’ve worked with students of varying disabilities in New York, Florida, and Georgia.
Originally from Long Island, New York, I have lived in Georgia for over twenty years. I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with my two boys, family, and friends. I especially love vacationing at the beach!

I was born and raised in Georgia so I’m a Georgia peach. I met my husband my senior year in highschool and we have been together 32 years (married 27). We love traveling, living on the lake, tennis and spending time with our family always. We have 2 amazing children. Our oldest Emarie is a personal trainer and our son will be starting his senior year at MTSU where he is studying aviation and on his way to become a pilot. I was blessed to be able to stay home with my children when they were younger but have now been back in the work force for the last 7 years. I had been looking for a permanent work home and I have found that at Sharon. I started here 2 years ago in the cafeteria and also helped with Knights Academy. I was given the opportunity to take my love for children outside the cafeteria and I jumped at it! The cafeteria will always be a treasured part of my beginnings at this school but I look forward to serving Sharon and the ACA classroom this year.
