Welcome! My name is Amy Lopez and I am the Media Specialist at New Hope Elementary!  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to expose our Nighthawks to a wide range of books encouraging a love of reading.

I hold a Master's degree in Instructional Technology/Library Media from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from George Mason University. As a proud Cuban and Ecuadorian, I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy sharing the richness of my Latin heritage. I have two children: my son is a recent graduate of UGA (GO DAWGS!), and my daughter is currently attending Georgia College (GO BOBCATS!). My significant other is from Texas, and together, we have three furry companions who keep us on our toes! In my free time, I love to read, shop, travel, and spend time with my family.

I'm thrilled to be part of the New Hope family, where we work together to nurture the young minds of New Hope Elementary.

My name is Dana Briscoe, and I am the Media Instructional Assistant at New Hope. It is my pleasure to help your child have a positive experience during Media specials, as well as when searching for the perfect book!

 Originally, from Marietta, GA, I am a lifelong Braves and Bulldogs fan! I went to college at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and graduated magna cum laude with a BSBA degree in Marketing. I have a passion for working with children and have experience with all ages from preschool through 5^th grade.

 I live in Cumming with my husband, Scott, and two children, Luke and Audrey, who are both students at NHE. In my free time, I love to read, jog, bike, and spend time with my family.

 My goal is to help foster a love of reading with students and support teachers with any needs. It is a privilege to be part of the Nighthawk family!
