Audrey Fuller
Hi! I’m Audrey Fuller, and I am thrilled to join the 3rd grade team at Vickery Creek Elementary! Originally from North Carolina, I have lived in several beautiful places including Utah and Virginia, before moving to Georgia in 2016.
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in English Teaching, and I have previously taught middle school English and Language Arts for 4 years. After taking some time to focus on raising my three wonderful children—Rachel (11), James (8), and Sarah (6)—I’m excited to return to the classroom full time.
I’m a big fan of VCE as my children have been attending, and I have enjoyed substituting here for the last 1 1⁄2 years. We love the staff and students that make it such a special community. Outside of school, you can find me teaching Zumba at the YMCA, cheering on my children in their hobbies and sporting events, supporting my husband Alex at his professional triathlon races, or indulging in my passions for cooking, reading, and traveling.
I am passionate about education and helping each student reach their full potential. I look forward to a fantastic year of learning, growth, and fun with your children at Vickery Creek! Let’s make this year fantastic!

Andrea Harris
Hi! My name is Andrea Harris. I am thrilled to be teaching third grade again this year! I have been working in the field of education for over 30 years, and this is my 12th year at Vickery Creek Elementary. I hold a master’s degree from Oglethorpe University.
I believe that it is an amazing privilege to be entrusted with the responsibility of working with children. My students have taught me that being a good teacher is so much more than just covering curriculum. I realize that sometimes the smallest things I say and do have the biggest impact. I strive to help keep students’ natural curiosity alive by showing them that learning is both rewarding and fun.
I live in Cumming with my husband of 33 year and our little white puppy dog. Our daughter is married and currently lives in Washington D.C. I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, traveling, spending time with my family and friends, and doing anything outdoors.
I am happy to start a new school year, and I look forward to the excitement and fun ahead!

I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement as well as my Master of Education with a Gifted Endorsement from Georgia Southern University. So, I am a proud double eagle! Lisa Landis
Hi Friends! I am Ms. Landis and the first thing you need to know about me is that I love reading!!
I have two sons, Preston and Wesley who are grown, and two dogs, Ziggy and Wiley. I like to read, garden, play on the lake, explore nature, visit my family, and make DIY craft projects. I also love to write, especially poems, when the mood is right.
My wildly important goal every year at school is to share my love of reading (and writing) with VCE students. One of my favorite things to do is to help friends find a good book to read.
I am excited to begin my 26th year of teaching and my 7th year at VCE. I have taught 3rd grade for 6 of those years, and I think it is awesome! We will have an amazing year together.

Mary Shaw
Welcome to third grade! I am so excited to get to know you this year! This is my 30th year of teaching and my 23rd year at VCE! I have taught at the elementary and middle school levels. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. A favorite childhood memory is playing school with my cousins in the basement and I loved being the teacher! I grew up in New York and moved to Georgia when I was in college. I earned my undergraduate degree from UGA (Go DAWGS!) and my master’s degree with a Reading Endorsement from Mercer University. I believe we are all lifelong learners and that we can learn something new every day. I love watching my students grow academically and socially throughout the year as leaders!
My husband David and I have lived in Cumming since we got married. We have two grown children. Our son, Robert, lives and works in Washington DC as a consultant. Our daughter, Kayla, recently graduated college and works in the medical field. We also have three fur babies, Buster (yellow lab), Bailey (black lab) and Brooklyn (chocolate lab). Buster and Bailey are our well-known celebrity therapy dogs you will often see around VCE. I am thrilled and blessed to share Buster and Bailey with the students and staff of VCE! When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family, traveling, shopping and of course playing our dogs!
