Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! We wanted to go ahead and share a list of upcoming important dates for our current seniors. For Blue Envelope collection, we encourage all community members, friends, and family to recognize our graduating seniors by writing congratulatory letters to our seniors. Please mail the letters to the school’s address below or drop them by the school’s front office during the card collection period of April 9^th – April 30^th. Please only include cards and send all gifts/money/packages/etc. directly to the student’s home.

GEORGIA MATCH letters for the Class of 2025 have been mailed today, Oct 4th. 

For Class of 2025:

• With a GAfutures student account that includes both a Social Security Number and Date of Birth matching their GEORGIA MATCH transcript record can now access their GEORGIA MATCH Dashboard
• Can see their GEORGIA MATCH Letter with the new link on the Dashboard
• Can Request Information or Claim their Spot with colleges listed on their GEORGIA MATCH Letter
• Will receive a confirmation email for each selection made
• November is Apply to College Month GEORGIA MATCH participating colleges are waving their admissions application fee for November.  More info to come on GAfutures.

Class of 2025 Information

Senior Parents – Graduation is Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 7:30 PM at the Gas South Arena. The link to pay Senior Dues is now open online at www.3rdascent.com.

The Senior Dues include your child’s diploma and cover, his/her cap and gown, the Senior Breakfast, and other items specifically related to graduation.  Senior Dues do not cover the cost of Senior pictures, graduation announcements, a yearbook and/or ad, or a Senior yard sign.

Please be sure to place the order under your child’s name, not yours.  You will also need to know your child’s height and weight when placing the order.  Senior Dues are currently $160, but the cost will increase after 12/01/2024.

The WFHS Counseling Department will be hosting a 12th grade Parent Info Night on Tuesday, August 27th starting at 6:00 pm.  Join us in the auditorium as we review LOTS of important information about senior year.  We hope to see you there!

The week of August 19^th through August 23rd the counselors will be doing Senior Drop-Ins. We will be available all week to Seniors, both in the morning before school, and during lunch, in the media center to go over grad requirements, HOPE scholarship rigor, and post-secondary planning questions. Please encourage your Seniors to take advantage of this opportunity.

Senior Portrait Info/Deadlines

- **August 31:** This is the deadline for your senior to be photographed if students want to guarantee the ability to choose the picture that will appear in the yearbook. 

- **October 1:** This is the final deadline for seniors to have their portrait taken. It is also the final deadline to select the portrait that will be used in the yearbook.

Please note that per our contract, all senior portraits—both formal and casual—must be taken by Cady in order to be included in the portrait section of the yearbook. This requirement does not apply to senior ads.

Additionally, senior ads are on sale now at westforsythyearbook.com.  The early bird discounted deadline is September 9. The final deadline for purchasing senior ads is November 1.
