District Quick FactsWho is Forsyth County Schools? We are home to over 5,000 exceptional employees and we have a close to $408 million budget, with 73% of our expenses tied to instruction. We have over 36,400 (and growing) students in 37 total schools –21 elementary, 10 middle, 5 high, and one non-traditional virtual 8-12 school, Forsyth Virtual Academy. We opened two new schools, Brandywine ES and DeSana MS, in 2016-17 and will be opening Denmark HS and the Alliance Academy for Innovation, a college and career high school, in 2018.
