     Certified Staff Perks

    Forsyth County’s schools are new or updated. We provide staff with state-of-the-art equipment to meet the needs of students and teachers in an ever-evolving world.  In addition to the technology provided by the district, including 10 Chromebooks per classroom teacher laptops and classroom interactive whiteboards, our students are also part of the Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) initiative which encourages them to bring their technology to class as a means to further enhance teaching and learning.  The district also uses technology to support teaching, learning, and operational needs through the use of online platforms such as itslearning, which is used for online learning throughout the school year and on days that schools are closed for inclement weather.
    FCS attracts highly qualified educators from Georgia and across the nation. The district and schools plan and implement a variety of professional learning activities and programs to support teachers. Additionally, staff can also receive advance degrees within the county through the University of North Georgia and Piedmont College.
    FCS has enjoyed a teacher retention rate of 93% or above for the past five years. Other perks include:
